We have had our three horses with Van Heggelund and Heggelund Training for just about three years. We are more than pleased with the overall care and training of the horses. Van has a wonderful way of putting the needs of the horses first and making sure the care/training matches each horses needs. We have found him to be dependable, highly competent in his skills as a trainer and show competitive. His extensive knowledge of medical care is also an enormous plus if issues ever arise. The new facility, Heggelund Stables, on Little Gopher Canyon is the best, most charming horse stable we have found in the north county. We recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience.
